FORT MYERS, Fla. – A new ’80s themed arcade in Fort Myers is a “dream come true” for owner Shawn Paul Jones.

Jones opened the Retro Zone Arcade and Toy Store in June. The shop features a variety of games – from pinball to Pac-Man – for customers to play.

As a kid who grew up in rural Oklahoma, Jones often spent time and money traveling to arcades to play pinball. At his shop on Colonial Boulevard, he now owns dozens of different game machines.

“The games themselves are by nature easy to learn and hard to master,” Jones said. “They’re the best thing you can have in a game.”

Customers can purchase “all-you-can-play” wristbands at Jones’ shop and often spend hours in the arcade.

“I think it was everyone’s dream of a certain age to own something like this,” Jones said.
