HAMSTER continues to bring the arcade goods home to the Nintendo Switch, with the studio confirming that yet another classic conversion is landing tomorrow – Vs. Gradius.
The beloved Konami “shmup” originally started as an arcade release, but this isn’t a port of that version. Instead, as Siliconera reports, it’s a port of the arcade converted NES game. It’s all a bit complicated.

Hamster has also confirmed that Nintendo’s own Vs. Pinball is on the way, as well as the 1983 Taito game Water Ski.
You’ll be able to grab Vs. Gradius via the Nintendo eShop tomorrow, August 15th.
