If everything goes according to plan, this weekend you’ll be able to head downtown, grab a beer and start testing out your pinball skills.
Things are still being set up, but general manager Allen Jacobson says the Bonus Round Bar’s second location should be up and running this Friday, “barring unforeseen circumstances.”
The bar’s expansion, which has been planned since earlier this summer, will be at 127 W. 10th Street. Jacobson said they’ve been putting in a lot of hours recently as they get everything set up and test their machines.
Jacobson said when the bar opens, they’ll have four pinball tables and one arcade cabinet to complement a selection of local beers. They’re hoping to quickly expand to six pinball tables and five arcade cabinets.
“It’s going to shift a lot in the first month,” he said, as they watch what people are playing to decide what is or isn’t a good fit.
Along with the planned opening, Jacobson said they’re also looking at bringing a pinball table to FernsonFest this Saturday.
“It’s going to be a hectic weekend,” he said.
