Love Boston or not, anyone with a sense of rhythm and a wee bit if Irish blood in ye must crank up the Dropkick Murphys best song, “I’m Shipping Up To Boston.” If that doesn’t get you in the St. Patrick’s Day mood, nothing will.
The American Celtic street punk band that formed in Quincy, Massachusetts, 23 years ago performs in Florida to put everyone in the green-and-white Irish mood. Tickets remain for most shows.
The band arrives in Pensacola for a March 2 concert at the Vinyl Music Hall. They New England boys head south to St. Petersburg for a March 4 show at Jannus Live, followed with a March 5 concert at the Fillmore at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami.
The Dropkick Murphys then head north to Orlando for a March 6 show at House of Blues before leaving the state for South Carolina.

The country star known for his voice and his co-host spot on “The Voice” hits Jacksonville on March 7 for a show at Veterans Memorial Arena.
Plenty of cheap seats remain at $27. Shelton is a mainstay on the popular NBC singing competition show that first aired in 2011.
The Oklahoman made his debut as a musical arts in 2001 with “Austin” and has racked up other hits such as “Boys ‘Round Here,””God Gave Me You,””The Baby” and “Ol’ Red.”

The comedian known for his former popular show on E!, “The Soup,” dives into standup in Naples and other Florida towns.
Joel McHale performs March 8 and March 9 at Off The Hook Comedy Club, with tickets starting at $30.
“The Soup” ran from 2004 to 2015, and revived that brand of humor a year ago with “The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale” on Netflix.

The 1990s jam band Blues Traveler has a new album out and will resurface in Florida soon.
Known for hits including “Run-Around” and “Hook,” the New Jersey band will perform a concert March 9 at the House of Blues in Orlando. Then they’ll return to Florida for a March 14 show at Club LA in Destin with general admission tickets starting at $26.50.

Tickets remain for The Who, who have scheduled two September concerts in Florida.
The British rockers known for hits including “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and “Pinball Wizard” are set to play Amalie Arena on Sept. 22. Tickets remain starting at $63 (excluding fees).
The other is Sept. 20 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise. Many $40 tickets remain for that concert on The Who’s “Moving On” (supposedly final) tour.
