Houston Has An Unlimited 21+ Arcade Paired With A Bar

Sure, you could go to a boring old bar with your friends—sit down, maybe have a couple of laughs. But why would you do that while you’re in Houston, Texas and we have a bar that is paired with a massive gaming showroom? That’s right, the Eighteen Twenty Lounge in Houston is connected to a 21+ arcade showroom.

On the first and last Friday of every month, Joystix (the game showroom) opens up it’s doors to 2-stories of unlimited arcade and classic game fun. Unlimited gameplay is just $15.

As one of the largest pinball and classic game collections in the entire U.S., you can find everything from vintage arcade games to brand new games.

And when we say massive, we mean it. Along with the arcade games, there’s air hockey, skeeball, pool, foosball, Guitar Hero, mini golf, driving games, etc. Every other Friday, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

It’s the perfect team-building exercise for an office-night-out with games like 8-player-led foosball, Beer Pong Master, giant connect 4, and Nascar Team Racing.

Joystix is 21 and above only. So grab your drink from the lounge and get your buzz on with some unlimited classic gaming. Plus, their inventory changes almost daily, so every visit is a new adventure.

The attached bar—Eighteen Twenty Lounge—is open every day and would be a killer girl’s night. The whole lounge is decked out in vintage vibes and features a sneak peek of some arcade games, a pool table, and delicious food.

Try out their signature frozen Jack and Coke before hitting those games.

And of course, they’re adamant about playing all the Astros games, so there’s your excuse to visit. Plus, they’re located downtown across from the stadium, so if you’re coming from the game (which, by the way, you can attend some for free), stop by for some celebratory drinks.
